We specialise in developing professional websites for businesses and individuals. Our developers are experienced in hand-coding HTML, PHP, and CSS, optimising graphics for quick loading, cross-browser compatibility. We make websites XHTML 1.1 compliant, as set out by W3C, and validate the entire site and its CSS before we release the project. All of our code is clean and well organised, which can be checked by viewing a page's source code.

2. How much does a website cost?

There are many factors to consider before we can estimate the cost of a website. The total cost will depend on the project's size, how many pages, graphic/artwork complexity, how interactive your site needs to be, hosting, and domains. Contact us to get a quote and approximate timeframe.

Generally, we would recommend everyone to take the Bronze package as that comes with adequate traffic & space and includes a FREE .co.uk domain, if paid annually. Businesses and other advanced users may opt to choose our Silver and Gold packages for the more benefits. We also have a no-frills basic Economy package for your very basic hosting.

3. How long does it take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the website. Basic static sites can be done within a week, other projects such as e-commerce sites can take up to a month. Please fill in our Website Quote Form to get approximate costs and timeframes.

4. What is the procedure?

Once you have decided to get a website, it is a good idea to write up a brief description of how your website will look like and function. Please fill in our Website Quote Form and a sales team member will get in touch with you for a detailed meeting (face-to-face or virtual) to discuss your requirements.

5. How much deposit is required?

We require a minimum 50% deposit on all projects prior to the commencement of the development work.

6. Do you offer discounts?

We offer a percentage discount if the invoice is settled before the commencement of the development work.

7. What kind of post-sales support do you provide?

We offer post-sales support in the first month after completing your project at no extra cost. Any technical support thereafter will be charged at £25/hour. You contact us for advice at any time but any business, marketing or IT-related consultation will be chargeable.

8. Can you maintain my website?

We can maintain the website for a monthly maintenance fee but you are responsible for supplying us the content.

9. What is FTP?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a method of digital communication between a client and a server. One of the most common uses for FTP is uploading and editing your website. We'll be publishing a guide on how to use FTP with your Atgram Systems hosting account in the near future.

10. How do I get listed in Google?

All our hosting solutions come with free Google site submission tools. We will submit your site for the first time after your website is fully functional and live.

11. What is optimisation?

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) refers to the factors relating to achieving a high search engine results ranking. We optimise our website coding for Google, as it is main search engine used by over three quarters of UK Internet users. It is said that there are around 200 odd factors involved in Google’s ranking system algorithm and is always changing.
